Dear aspirant
As you haven't been allotted any colleges in round first of AIQ counseling so if you don't want to participate in round 2 and want free exit then simply don't do choice filling and locking process in round 2. You should leave your choice filling options blank in round2 and in further round so like this you will be automatically exit from the AIQ. You don't have to do any procedure just simply not participate in further round. You will get your security deposit back in your account once when MCC start returning back the security deposit to non allotted candidates.
You can use our college predictor tool to predict the best college for you: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hope I may have resolved your query
Best regards!
Hey!
free exit means you can decide to join or decline a college that has been allotted to you in the 1st round. but since you havent got any college, you MUST exit the 1st round. and now, attending the 2nd round is completely your wise. if you are not interested, you may not appear for the counselling itself.
i hope i answered you
Hello,
Yes you will get you security back if you didn't get any seat or if you got seat and accepted it. You will not get your security deposit back if you got the seat and didn't accept it in second round. It does not matter how many rounds you take part.
The security fee is refunded back only after the counselling process is completed, to the accounts from where its was deposited. Also, it is refunded after 15 days when MCC publishes all the details about refund on its official website. You can check out more details here:

Hi Candidate,
First of all, you should know about the All India Counselling Process and State Counselling Rounds. The All India Counselling Process deals with the All India Rank or All India Category Rank which is applicable for getting admission into several colleges all round the country, whereas the State Counselling Rounds deals with the Admission into State- Government Funded Institutes and have the State Rank for Admission Criteria. So, you can surely participate in these rounds if you have joined the All India Counselling Round.
All The Best.
The term Locked choices as the term itself suggests refers to the College options which the candidate has selected for his Admission and the choices from which he or she wants to secure Admission from the list of submitted colleges.
I'm sorry to inform you but once the locked choices are submitted, it can't be undone or changed further.
Have a Good Day.

Hi Mit Gupta,
a candidate who does not belong to Karnataka state and has no domicile of it, then he/she can apply in the private medical colleges through management quota. The All India counselling is done for Government Medical Colleges in Karnataka. Most of the private medical seats are allocated to state quota. If you want to apply through state counselling, you are required to have completed class 12th in Karnataka or you should have domicile certificate of Karnataka.
