The All India Institute of Medical Sciences has started it's branch in Madurai,Tamil Nadu.
It is still under construction process and the classes are not starting for 2019-20 batch.

AIIMS 2019 basic registration (first step) will be closed on 3 Janauary 2019.
On 7 January 2019, you will get to know your basic registration status (whether your application accepted or not).
If there will be any error, the correction time will be given from 8 January to 18 January

The discrepancy may be due to the some technical issues or site is just lagging behind. Once the site is updated, it will show you correct thumbprint,don't worry about it. And if it doesn't , then you can mail and notify them about this.
