Is it reasonable to prepare for NEET and JEE together? Doesnt it reduce the efficiency for medical preperation?Is it even viable?

Both the exams have got a vast syllabus. On the other hand jee requires maths where as neet requires biology. So practically it is quite impossible to study for both exams together and qualify. Stick to the one you are more interested in be a doctor or an engineer.

The online application tentative dates are last week of Jan 2018.

Most important for NEET/AIIMS is your NCERT books as these books include basic principles and concepts and provide accurate information.
BUT KEEP IN MIND YOU HAVE TO CLEAR ENTRANCE YOU ARE NOT DOING PhD so dont go by all books mentioned here and there
