Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering
Hey Sanjay
Before I tell you about your chances I just want to inform you that we can only make predictions based on the previous year statistics, we are in no way involved in the actual seat allotment and only use previous years data.
That being said, with your rank and assuming you to be from general category from open state (non home state)
In Amritapuri campus: You have high chances of getting admission in Computer Science and Engineering ,Electronics and Communication Engineering , EEE and Mechanical (be it in the next round or the further rounds).
In Coimbatore Campus:You can get admission in Mechanical,EEE,Chemical,Civil and aerospace but not CSE or ECE.
For more details you can visit https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/aeee-cutoff . All the best!
Hey Pokhuri
Your rank is good enough to get you a seat. If you got the fee payment receipt that means your money has reached Amrita University. However if the money has been debited from your bank account and you have not received any fee payment receipt then maybe your money was not reached to the desired location. In that case the money is likely to get wired back to you or you may visit the nearest branch of your bank (had happened with me too and they wired the money back to my father's account). To enquire if the money reached Amrita or not you can reach them at + 91 8072251672 | +91 7034024264 | +91 9943984432 | +91 9344914201 from 9 am to 5 pm or reach their virtual help desk at https://desk.zoho.in/portal/amritahelpdesk/en/signin
All the best!
Hello . Congrats on securing this rank and getting an option of EEE is also good.
That's a total risk of waiting till last round for CSE. But definitely you have an option yo freeze or the best opinion I can give is complete your first year and then apply for branch change. Maintain a good academic record throughout the first year.
This way you will get your campus as well as your branch . Confirm it with the college.
Hope that helps!
Hello,
It is difficult to predict the cut off now as it depends on number of candidates appeared, number of candidates applied, difficulty of exam, number of seats available etc. And the cut off determining factors also changes this year as 60:40 weightage is given or AEEE and group subjects in 10+2 level respectively so previous year cut off cannot be compared to predict the chance. You may have slight chances of getting seat in CSE in Bangalore but it depends on seat availability and cut off rank under your category.
You have a decent rank and the chances of getting seat is high so do not loose hope. Participate in further rounds and make sure that you give as many preferences as you can but do not select any branch or campus in which you are not interested in. So fill the online choice filling form accordingly.
Hello student.
A rank of 5744 is a bit of low rank for you to fetch you a seat in amritha campus in open quota for computer science engineering. And the branch of computer science is a demanding one. Not just that branch, branches like electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering etc are sort of demanding branches.
There might be chances to get computer science. Might be in 2nd round or 3rd round of counselling. Apply for the university, attend the counselling. People might not be attending because, they might be preferring nit's and iits and other higher ranked colleges etc. But we cant be sure about this.

Hello aspirant,
Congratulations for getting good rank in AEEE 2020. The rank you get is very good. According to last some years cut offs you will definitely get CSE and ECE branch in Bangalore and Amritapuri campus of Amrita university. As the cut offs for Coimbattoor campus are generally high but you will get ECE branch easily but for CSE branch there are 70-30 chances of getting admission or not.
The last some years cut offs for Amrita university are given in below link that will be beneficial for you to et idea about admission in the Amrita university.
