For getting into Amrita university .
You should have minimum qualifying mark of JEE
And for AEEE the cut off is 10,000 for last few years so you many not get a seat. And you're not having a benefit of state quota.
but there is a chance that the cut off may change this year.

Hello, it is difficult to tell that you will be able to get CSE in Amrita but there is a very less chances of your to get admission in Amrita Coimbatore. Amrita University gives preference to state quota, ( student belonging to Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala). CSE , ECE , IT they are most preferred fields of study, so people tend to fill up the positions faster. So in my opinion it is really difficult with your rank. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts Amrita engineering entrance examination to admission in bachelor of technology courses to different Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham campuses. however as per previous years cutoff you have less chances in electrical and electronics engineering courses which ever category you may belongs to.

If previous years cut off trends are analyzed the cut off for admission to EEE in Amrita University, Coimbatore was around 19000 under state quota. But we cannot compare previous year cut off because this year rank depends on 60% marks scored in AEEE and 40% marks scored in PCM in class 12, last year the rank was based on marks scored in AEEE only. So this year the cut off may change depending on various factors like number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc. She may have slight chances of getting seat as she belongs to SC category and has state quota(If she has passed qualifying exam in any college located in Tamilnadu).

If you fall under the umbrella of open quota, then you can get seat in bangalore campus and you can get seat in CSE dept.

With your rank, assuming you to be from general category, your chances of getting a seat in Amrita Coimbatore campus in EEE branch is sufficientlyhigh as the cutoff rank is somewhat around 19000 for this course. As for Mechanical the cutoff is around 17000 hence the chances of you getting a seat in Mechanical is low. All the best!
