Among the colleges you have mentioned Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore has the highest average package worth 6.5-7 lacs INR. Debating about NIT Srinagar and Amrita coimbatore , NIT Srinagar is far much better college than Amrita Coimbatore in terms of placements , company visited , infrastructure , campus , facilities and activities .

If you are getting mechanical branch in NIT Srinagar , then I think you should take a seat in that college only as compared to Amrita coimbatore Mechanical .

Hi Anirudh. Though CCE ( communication and computer engineering ) branch is more demanding than EEE, VIT Vellore is much more reputed than Amrita Coimbatore. Moreover the placement of EEE at VIT Vellore is better than that of CCE at Amrita Coimbatore. Despite being from EEE branch you will be allowed to sit for CSE core companies placement provided you have a good CGPA. So in my opinion you should go for EEE at VIT Vellore
