There are separate boys and girls hostel in Amrita, coimbatore campus. PG and final year UG students get a single room. Pure vegetarian food is served in the mess.
there is a night cafeteria attached to the hostel as well.
there is one common room in each building of the hostels. One gym each for boys and girls. There is wifi, indoor games facilities. The hostel and rooms are kept very tidy and hygienic . Four students in one room till youre in final year then you get a separate room. Theres no Problem with the electricity or water supply.

In CSE you have a lot of subjects and variables of topics. So the primary reason which is considered is that if you want to know more about a specific part of CSE then specialization is great.

For example, you have interest in CSE but you really like the portion of Artificial Intelligence then you can go for the specialization in AI.

But in general most student don't exactly know how is the essence of the subject in real life. For example we all know about robotics but in robotics we have various parameters which we have to learn and not only building it. Thus I always suggest that if you are sure about a field of specialization is what you want to do then go for BTECH CSE specialization else its better for you to go for CSE.

If you think that you will enjoy studying it then go for it else you go for CSE.

Amrita has only 30% seats reserved for jee mains candidates, a rank of 5k in jee mains is a great rank and to get CSE in amrita in any campus you need a percentile above 97. A rank of 5k means your percentile is almost around 99.4 to 99.6 so you have a great chance.

Moreover you can also give AEEE and to get CSE in amrita, get a score above 150 out of 180 to secure a seat in amrita. Based on your JEE mains rank, you have a great opportunity.

By considering the previous years cut-off ranks for AEEE , you have plenty of chances to get admission in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Coimbatore.

The previous years cut-off ranks of state quota is 10001-12500(opening rank) , 20001-22500(closing rank). For open & state quota category, it is 9501-10000.

The cut-off rank for ECE in Amrita coimbatore is from 2747 to 16407. The cut-off rank for CSE is 1813-13801. The cut-off list will change every year depending on number of applications, desired branch and seats availablity.

As you secured 9.2k in AEEE, you can get admission based on previous years data.

Congratulations on your phenomenal performance in AEEE 2021. See, it would not be possible to get CSE with the mentioned rank at Coimbatore campus under open quota as it most common choice of AEEE aspirants and has tough competition. As of ECE, the chances are slim as the previous closing ranks are close to 3000 but it is expected to shoot up considering the tough competition and tie ups in various ranks.

Your chances at Amritapuri campus are much better as there is comparatively less hustle. You will surely get a seat in  ECE or either of the different CSE programs. This campus is almost at par with the main campus for engineering due to excellent faculty members and highly active placement cells and chapters. It only fall backs in terms of area and infrastructure in comparison but you will get equal opportunities. You might not know in the nirf engineering rankings, it is the Amritapuri campus which has been mentioned although Coimbatore campus is the oldest campus.

see cutoff score varies every year with the determining factors like number of applicant, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream etc. based on previous years closing score data analysis you have moderate chances for selection in computer science engineering department , however for backup it is best to apply for others colleges as well.
