With an AIR of 15,000 in NEET PG 2025, BC-D category, your chances of getting Pediatrics or OBGY in Andhra Pradesh government colleges are very low. Previous year cutoffs for these specialties were usually under AIR 7,000–9,000 for BC categories. You may have better chances in private or semi-government colleges. Consider opting for other specialties with lower cutoffs if you aim for a government seat. DNB programs in private hospitals are another alternative. Always check official state counseling trends before deciding.
Hii manasha!
It's not possible to check the exact number of vacant seats after KCET 1st round as Karnataka examination authority does not publish a direct list of vacant seats college wise. They only release the allotment result, seat matrix and cutoff ranks.
This means that you cannot simply login and see the number of seats vacant in a college. A practical way to check would be to download the round One seat matrix from the official portal it will tell total number of seats which are available in each course and college. Then download the round one allotment for cutoff list which will show how many sheets were actually allotted and till what rank they have filled students.
By comparing these to you can make estimate of seats filled as per the allotment list. Another way is that if you have not been alloted a seat in round 1 than you can wait and check round 2 allotment if seats would be vacant in your category then you will get allotment as per your marks and rank.
Hope it helps!
A 24k rank in EAMCET makes getting into highly competitive branches like CSE at Andhra University directly challenging, as cutoffs are often significantly lower.
However, securing a seat in less competitive B.Tech branches or potentially Pharm.D, especially if you belong to a reserved category, might be possible.
Consider exploring affiliated colleges, utilizing college predictor , and actively participating in the counseling process, as these can open up more opportunities based on your rank and preferences.
Hello Kavya
With 24,000 rank in EACMET, it will be highly unlikely to get a seat for popular courses like B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, Pharm.D etc because the cutoff for Andhra University usually goes under 12,000 rank.
You may get AU region private colleges with your rank.
Thank You!!!
With 24,000 rank in EAMCET, your chances of getting a seat in Andhra University for B.Pharmacy is very unlikely. The cutoff rank for B.Pharmacy in Andhra University has been around 10,000 rank for the general category and your rank of 24,000 is much lower than that.
With an AP EAMCET rank of around 24,000 , securing admission to the Pharm.D program at Andhra University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Visakhapatnam) in 2025 appears unlikely . In recent years, closing ranks for Pharm.D at AU ranged between 36,204 to 43,510 for the general category, indicating that the cutoff remains significantly below your rank .
Hello Aspirant,
With a 7,000 rank in AP EAPCET (BIPC) , getting a seat in Andhra University is possible, especially for courses like B.Pharmacy or B.Sc. Agriculture/Fisheries Science . Admission depends on your specific category and the course cut-offs for 2025, which are not yet officially released but typically fall within this range for certain programs.
For B.Pharmacy , the fee at Andhra University's College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is roughly 3.45 Lakhs per year . For B.Sc. Agriculture , fees can range from 50,000 to 1.5 Lakhs per year in government institutions. However, Andhra University's specific B.Sc. program fees vary. Check the official AU website or counselling brochure for exact course-wise fees.
Hi,
With a general rank of 13,964 and a local rank of 1,529 in bc-d category in au region, your chances of getting a seat in main campus universities like krishna university, acharya nagarjuna university, or adikavi nannaya university depend on the course demand. in 2nd counseling, seats sometimes open up in less-demanded specializations (like certain mba/mca branches), but popular courses may close earlier. i’d recommend filling as many preferred options as possible and also considering affiliated colleges to maximize your chance.
