The only gateway to get into Anna University is through TNEA. Apply for TNEA and give the exam, score marks more than the cut off to secure a seat there. 

TNEA Application forms are available on tnea.ac.in.

The eligibility criteria to secure a seat in Anna University is to maintain a minimum of 50% of the maximum marks from the respective board in PCM and clear 11 and 12 classes.

To get a seat in MIT with branches like Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering; you should score above 185 as per previous year's closing marks. For branches like Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Rubber Technology; a 160+ is good to go.

Admission in School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University is done through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling based on the score obtained in NATA. The eligibility for B.Arch in TNEA is to pass NATA i.e to score a minimum of 80/200

52 seats are reserved for the students of other states for B.tech/BE courses in the university departments.  Two seats are reserved for B. Arch in Anna University. 

For nothern, eastern, western students; 11 seats are available and 16 seats for southern students. 1 seat for Kashmir immigrants.
