Greetings of the day dear aspirant
There is no such criteria (minimum JEE marks) for admission in to SASTRA university. SASTRA university has a separate procedure through stream 1 and stream 2 . Stream 1 70 percent seats of every branch are filled through stream 1 based on 12 th percentage ( 75 percent after normalisation ) + JEE mains score ( 25 percent )
For example 12 th percentage - 88 (CBSE) and JEE mains score is 80 . Normalised percentage of board would be as follows 88 * 100/98.6 = 89.25 (Assuming percentage of topper is 98.6 ) Now 89.25 * 0.75 + 80 * 0.25 =86.94 This is your final score . AIR (SASTRA) is prepared based on this final score . There is a chance AIR up to 4000 . If someone is a topper of board exam and his JEE mains score is 40 then final score would be 85 and AIR (SASTRA) would be above 5000 . It proves that there is no chance for JEE mains score below 40 in stream 1 . Stream 2 . 30 percent seats of every branch are filled through stream 2 based on 12 th percentage . There is very less chance for percentage below 95 in stream 2 . I know your chances are less but your intermediate marks is good so you still stand a chance to get admission through stream 1. I would recommend you to apply for SASTRA without any fear as I see a little possibility that you may get a seat there.

Hi aspirant,
There are majorly two modes of admission in BTech program at Sastra University which includes either based upon jee main+ 12th boards score or entirely on board's score. If you want to apply on based upon jee + board's performance the score will be calculated as(.75*board's percentage+.25*jee percentile). See, there is no cutoffs or minimum score criteria required for getting a seat. The admission procedure is completely done on merit basis through a counselling process. The percentage and choices preferences of candidates are collected and then verified before releasing the merit list. If you are among the top candidates aspiring for CSE or aeronautics and your merit number is above the total number of seats available, you will get it. Your chances are good considering the previous trends but you should apply entirely on your performance in +2 exams.

At first Congratulations on your wonderful performance in the senior secondary examination. There are majorly two modes of admission in BTech program at Sastra University which includes either based upon jee main+ 12th boards score or entirely on board's score. Look there is no cutoffs or minimum score criteria required for getting a seat and the admission procedure is completely done on merit basis through a counselling process. The percentage and choices preferences of candidates are collected and then verified before releasing the merit list. If you are among the top candidates aspiring for Electrical and communication engineering and your merit number is above the total number of seats available, you will get it. Your chances are good considering the previous trends but the closing ranks are likely to shoot up this time, so it can't be confirmed.
Hi,
The eligibility criteria for getting admission into B.Sc course in Andhra University is that the candidate should have qualified 12th board exam from a recognized institute with Science stream. So, you seem to fulfil that criteria.
During the registration & the application process, you have to pay the application fees. Then the college will conduct the counselling & during the counselling process, the seats will be allotted on the basis of merit achieved in 12th board exams so you seem to have a good chance.
By a 'free seat', I am assuming you are talking about any donation fees that may be required during the admission process but generally there's no donation fee charged for getting admission into colleges to pursue B.Sc course but you need to pay the admission fees if you get a seat in the college irrespective of your category & financial situation.
You can request for a concession in the fees by writing to the authorities of the college & providing the required documents like income certificate, cast certificate, etc.
Hope this helps.
You have scored very good results in your 12th board exam so you can easily get admission into any course in Andhra University.
The eligibility criteria for getting admission into B.Sc course to pursue Nutrition & Dietetics is that the candidate should complete 12th board from a recognized institute with Chemistry & Biology as core subjects. So, you already had Chemistry & Biology in 12th board so that would not be a problem.
Also, during the counselling process, the seats are allotted on the basis of merit achieved in 12th board exams so you have a fair chance. Generally there's no donation involved in getting admission into colleges to pursue B.SC course in Nutrition & Dietetics but you need to pay the admission fees irrespective of your cast category & financial situation.
You may request for a concession in the fees by writing to the authorities after getting admission to the college but the minimal fees for getting the admission is usually mandatory until the college offers any special relaxation.
All the best.
Greetings of the day aspirant
Hope this clears all your doubts!!
Dear Ruhesh,
There is no restriction on using black pen for headings and blue pens for answers as such, but it won’t fetch extra marks for writing heading in black pen. I am worried that you might run short of time during examination by doing that. Rather then writing headings with black pen ; I would suggest you to write everything with blue pen and then underline the headings / key words using pencil and scale. For better presentation , you can go for drawing lines with pencil after every answer ( do this only after completing your entire paper and if you have time left ).
Hope it helps you.
All the best!
For your score in Andhra Pradesh intermediate board exams and the percentile you have scored in the JEE mains exam you can get a seat in sastra University on regular bias.
But with the change in trends in every year we cannot be very sure about your seat in sastra University because it also depends on the number of students who have applied for sastra University along with you.
Suppose students with score equal to or more than you have applied for sastra University then you may not be in the list of students who are eligible to get a seat in sastra university in your desired branch so it would be better you attempt the sastra University entrance exam to confirm your seat.
