The paper tests your creative aptitude, visualisation skill, reasoning, creative writing, awareness, general awareness, general knowledge, some basics and sensitivity to solve any design related problems, etc. Agreed that people from B.Des will have a slightly better advantage but you can crack it easily too. So you will have to dig as many as sample papers as you possibly can and practise them. There is no set syllabus in specific for this test. And so you have to either join a Coaching center for getting a hang of the subject before you appear for the entrance exam or you will have to practise as many as sample papers as you can and read B.Des books.
NIFT is a very prestigious college and the courses offered are the most sought after. Apparel production is a very famous course offered in the NIFT which has an approximate of 518 seats.

Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies, Bangalore established in 2005. The ownership of the college is private. According to the students review the college infrastructure is good while placements and facilities are moderate. The college offers several UG/PG programmes. B.Sc in fashion and apparel design is one of them and it is a quite good institute for the course . There are 60 seats available for this course in the college it is a full time course for the 3 years affiliated by the Bangalore university.
