Aptitude test
Hello Aspirant,
At this marks it is very difficult to get IISER. There is very less chance to get IISER. IISER cutoff has own criteria. I depend on some factors like school board (CBSE,ICSE and other state board), minimum score by the applicants and also depend on category.
If the candidate belong to CBSE board and from general category then candidate should score approximately 420 marks, if Candidate belong to OBC then Candidate score should be approximately 400/410 marks, if candidate are from SC/ST then the score is approximately 370marks.
And as per your marks it is very difficult to get IISER.
I hope this information is helpful for you.
All the best for your bright future ahead.
You will be checked for your:
Under Mathematical skills, you should focus on Mathematics atleast from 6th to 10th. Because there is no fixed syllabus you cannot just rely on 9th and 10th Mathematics topics. Under Language and Comprehension skills command on your English, Grammar, Vocabulary will be checked. Under Critical Reasoning, comparison of data, Data Analysis, taking clues, interpreting missing data, coming to conclusions and making future projections will be covered under this Category. The questions here are interlinked and so if you get one formula correct, cracking the next few questions will be easy. So it's important to memorise and practise formulae. You should cover topics like Data tables, Data Charts, Bar Diagrams, Pie Charts, Graphs, Data Comparison and Analysis.
I am also scoring exacty same marks. I don't think there is a chance unless or until you are of reserved catogry( Sc or St or Obc)
Dear Aspirant,
IISER doesn't provide any official cutoff list.So looking at the previous year's cutoff, there is a better chance of your's to get admission in IISER.The last year's utoff for OBC was 60-70 marks. So according to your marks you will get a good IISER.But the cutoff might change every year.
All the best
Thank you
Hi,
The cutoff marks in IISER aptitude test is not released by the college authorities. So you can't be sure on it and it varies every year. However if you are a general candidate, you should get atleast 70 marks to secure a seat in IISER. I don't think at a score of 44, it would be possible to make it. You can read more about IISER cutoffs at this link-

Thank you.
Getting admission into an IISER institutes depends upon your score of IISER Aptitude test and eligibility of passing +2 examination. Seeing your score, it is difficult to say that you will get admission into a top IISER institute. But you can try for the councelling rounds. Since the cutoff of IISER changes every year depending upon no. of students appeared and exam difficulty level, it is unsure about what the cutoff for 2020 might be. Also, each IISER has only 200 seats. In order to get admission into a good IISER institute , you must atleast get 130 out of 180 marks.
But you may check the official website for more details and notifications.
Good luck
Seeing your marks of IISER Aptitude test, it is difficult to say which IISER you may get, whether Pune or Kolkata.
Since seeing and considering the previous years cutoff of both these colleges, which ranges from 110 to 180 previously, they vary each year depending on what your score, category and rank is.
Seat availability also plays a vital role since every IISER has 200 seats.
See Candidate your marks are really good. You will definitely get TOP IISER but not in first round but in 2nd or 3 rd Round of Councilling you can get. Yes you can get a decent IISER. May be in second or third round. Here I am sharing link in which you can check all the details Of IISER Cutoffs https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/iiser-merit-list-and-cutoff

With your expected marks and category you can get admission in any IISER you want. By surity I can say that if you are particularly interested in IISER trivandrum then congratulations you will definitely be offered this college.
Good luck!
Hi Purnjay,
According to your expected score and category there are fairly high chances of you getting selected in IISER Mohali or Bhopal. Due to category and expected low cutoff this year there are also good chances that you can get IISER Pune or Kolkata but we can't be sure here. Let's wait and watch first 1-2 rounds then the picture will be clear.
