ARCHITECT I am shubham For getting admission in MNIT is board marks require and I got 98%ile in jee paper 2 so can I get admission in MNIT

Prashant_1553778274 Student Expert 10th May, 2019

Hello Shubham,

The basic eligibility criteria for NIT usually take into account the percentage obtained in boards. You need to secure minimum of 75% marks in 12th if you are a General or OBC candidate or be in top 20 percentile of a boards result. In case you are SC on ST candidate you need to secure a minimum of 65% to be eligible for NIT.

No matter how you percentile is if you are not able to clear the eligibility based on the 12th percentage you cannot get a seat in in any NIT.

I hope this helps.

All the best.

Who earns more, an architect or a computer science engineer or EC engineer?

Nakkina Sai Bhaskar Student Expert 26th Mar, 2019

Hii Jithin jose,

The amount of earning money depends on the type of job you do.There are so many Electronic and communication engineering people who earn Better income than Computer science graduates and the vice versa.what important is the type of job and the position .

Computer science graduates have more opportunities to explore and showcase their skill with Coding. If you can excel in coding you can even earn 2.3 crore package as a fresher. There are students from IIT's and top institutes who got selected for big companies as a programmer.Similarly the ECE graduates will also have good opportunities but the CSE dominates ECE.Architect is a different one compared to these courses and the amount of you earn in this field depends on your skill. Finally CSE people dominates both ECE  graduates and architects.

Thank you.

What is todays scope for architect?

anika ravi kumar 7th Mar, 2019

Hey apurva!

The best part of being an architect is that you can be anything.

After graduation the usaul path :

You can join architechtural firms and work on projects

Join infrastructure firms as an architect.

Be a free Lance interior designer if you like it.

Be a conservationist architect and work on conserving of heritage projects.

Work with NGO's developing architectural solutions to real issues.

Be an architect photographer. All you need to know is how to use rule of thirds.

Many architects also become graphic designer.

Average package in India -

The value of an architect is not because of what he has studied but what projects he has executed or worked on!

So for now focus on learning and completing projects for the next five years.

Wish you all the best.

Is architecture easy, what is the work for an architect?

Karthik MP 7th Mar, 2019

Hello Satish Pimpale

Yes, Architecture engineering is easy when compared to B.tech engineering. There will less work for reading only, you will have hell number of drawing sheets to draw and you need to make models that is  only 20% of reading and 80% of drawing and model making. There will more of trips where you will be taken to temples and other places and asked to make a plan for that place. There will be asked to do case study on Architect buildings..etc

How will the life of an architect be ?

G Rakesh 25th Feb, 2019

Hello.

Design architects generally design buildings or other structures such as statues and water fountains for their employer. They work on design projects from start to finish, consulting with clients, creating and editing draft designs, and monitoring project progress throughout construction. Design architects must keep their supervisors and other team members up to date on all updates to projects, and they may go to construction sites to monitor construction progress in person and help conduct troubleshooting as needed. Sometimes, design architects coordinate construction projects as well; this requires coordinating the work of a wide number of construction and design team members to ensure a project is completed successfully within project specifications, deadlines and budget.

Design Architect Tasks
  • Assist team in developing and implementing design concepts for both interior and building projects.
  • Mentor younger staff to develop their design skills.
  • Work with clients in the pre-design phase to generate designs.

Pay by Experience for a Design Architect has a positive trend. An entry-level Design Architect with less than 5 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of Rs 309,000 based on 770 salaries provided by anonymous users. Average total compensation includes tips, bonus, and overtime pay. A Design Architect with mid-career experience which includes employees with 5 to 10 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of Rs 605,000 based on 225 salaries. An experienced Design Architect which includes employees with 10 to 20 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of Rs 1,198,000 based on 115 salaries. A Design Architect with late-career experience which includes employees with greater than 20 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of Rs 1,965,000.

Hope this is helpful.

Good luck.
