from last year opening and closing ranks it seems that a person just needs to qualify the AAT after which the seats are alloted in preferential order according to their jee advanced ranks

1. JEE - covers all IIT, NIT, and central government funded institutions.

2. NATA - This is for private colleges and universities in India.
