You can become an Army Nurse via Military Nursing Services. MNS recruits via MNS entrance examination followed by the interview and medical procedure. They are commissioned officers of Indian Army.

They get all the benefits and entailments as all other army officers are entitled. Upon adding Grade Pay, and all other matrix, upon addition makes the salary of INR 56,100. The post after qualifying MNS Exam and training is of Lieutenant. The salary structure increases as per the experience and post of a person.

Girls cannot join army just after 10th class. There is no pre graduation entry for girls in indian armed forces.

Girls can join army for sure but only after they've completed their Bachelors degree in any stream . Then give the CDS OTA exam, since girls are only allowed in OTA( Officers training academy) . Once you clear the exam, you'll get a call for SSB. SSB will include group discussions, personal interviews and many more methods of selection. Once you clear SSB, then there will be a medical check and only after you clear the Medical they will announce a final list for the candidates selected for OTA .

Note: since girls are only allowed in OTA, the exam for OTA doesn't have a section for mathematics. There are only 2 sections for OTA i.e., general awareness and english.

1.EWS means ( Economically Weaker Section ). It is a reservation for General category students who belong Economically weaker background.

EWS category has got 10% reservation in All India quota seats in NEET UG 2020 onwards.

You need to fulfil the criteria to come under this category.

• Your family income must be less than 8 lakhs per year
• Less than 5 acres of agriculture land
• Less than 1000 sq ft Residential flat area  Or
• Less than 100 yard sq plot area ( notified municipal sector)  or less than 200 yard sq (non notified municipal sector)

The lowest Cut off marks for EWS was 147/720 in NEET 2020 but allotment on a seat depends on rank as well.

2. If EWS seats are not available then those candidates will be eligible for general category.

3. EWS category cut off are usually lower than general category but yes it can happen if there are more number of EWS candidates in high ranks.

According to Army medical regulations, weight should be proportional to height and age.

Test of Physical Fitness ( At Rally Site )

• 1.6-kilometer run

(i)Group -I - Up to 7 minutes and 30 seconds

(ii)Group –II - up to 8 minutes

There will be rallies in six different places. Each rally site caters to candidates from a certain group of states based on their proximity to the event venue. For each rally site, a separate merit and reserve list will be created.

Your marksheet will not affect where it is in grades format or numbers format. For Army GD you can appear in the rally bharti of your state for 10th/12th standard, just clear the running, medical and written, they ask your marksheet just for the clarification not for the percentage.

You can also appear in the Soldier GD Bharti for Women's only, they post that notification twice in the year. Appear in the exam clear the written, physical and medical and you will be the part of Indian Army.

Hi aspirant, for Army wards in most of the colleges including Government, Public/Government and Private there is a column in every admission form and any Army ward should definitely fill that column in order to have concession in his/her fees.

Likewise UPES also give concession in Fees for Army Wards. So you can go for it.
