Anurag Khanna 14th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you have good chances of getting into NIT Arunachal Pradesh with Civil Engineering as per previous year's cut-off, provided that you must deserves Home state quota. As cut-offs for this year is not declared yet so we can guide you on the basis of previous year's cut-offs which are given below :-

Civil Engineering - 172672 (closing OBC rank for Home state quota)

For complete details about previous year's cut-offs refer the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-nit-arunachal-pradesh

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the chances of your admission in different colleges  based upon your percentile and category :-

I hope this information helps you.

sir , if I can have a chance for admission in nit sikkim, Arunachal pradesh, manipur and iiit like vadodara, kota, kanchipuram, guwahati itc. then which college i should choose

Ayush Pandey 3rd Oct, 2020

Hello,

See if you are getting  top branches like CSE, ECE, IT, then you can go for these NITs else you should prefer IIITs.

These new IIITs are continuously developing and their average package is increasing with every passing year. Course curriculum is great.

In my opinion IIIT Vadodara=IIIT Kota>IIIT Guwahati>NIT Arunachal>NIT Sikkim>NIT Manipur

My father is doing business in Arunachal Pradesh and i am staying with my parents and i was born in Arunachal Pradesh and i have completed my school here only from nursery to class 12 but my real hometown is assam , and now i have decided to give NEET UG so can i apply in state quota of asaam ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Aug, 2020

Sarfraz, for being eligible for Assam State Quota of 85%, you should have completed your education from Class 7th to 12th in the State of Assam and also either you or your parents should have resided in the State of Assam for atleast 20 years. But if you have lived the whole of your life in Arunachal Pradesh, you are not eligible for Assam State Quota. You are only eligible for 15% All India Counselling for Assam. But you are eligible for both 15% All India Quota and 85%  State Quota for Arunachal Pradesh MBBS seats. This is because you hold the domiicle of Arunachal Pradesh.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh or IIIT jabalpur , Which is best for ECE?

Nimish Yadav 22nd Sep, 2020

Both colleges are best according to their respective. You can go to anyone you will learn same about ECE . But as you know NITs are ia government funded colleges and consider next after IITs but in NIT Arunachal Pradesh you might face sometime language barrier and placement and  staffs are great . But the college's is quite far so there is problem in travelling facility . There might also be some campus problem as college is quite far . But looking IIIT jabalpur it's a private college  but it also provides a great teaching and placement. Remember every college has their pros and cons but getting NIT and IIIT is achievement in yourself.

Why Is NIT ARUNACHAL PRADESH BETTER THAN SASTRA UNIVERSITY, THANJAVUR?

varunvekaria 29th Jul, 2020

Dear student,

Not all NITs are better than SASTRA University.

While comparing colleges, it makes sense to compare based on aspects which are really important, than the rules and regulations.

SASTRA has stricter rules with respect to attendance and hostels. That is only reasonable. Quality of academics and research is obviously better at NIT.

At NIT Andhra Pradesh you can  get the tag of NITian.

It is the institute which has an average package of 5.87 LPA in the first out passed batch.

You can choose for yourself which one is better.

If any doubts feel free to use the comment section.

Hope this helps.

We are guessing you meant Regional language. Can you help us with some information like the State you hold the domicile of the the gazette that says Regional language exam is not mandatory please? Ideally such rules apply to Candidates who hold the domicile of that State. But please do help us with the gazette link so that we can help you with relevant information.

if my residence is tamilnadu ,so my graduation (degree) completed in Arunachal Pradesh,, so I am eligible to attend upsc exam ??

Anantika Kushwaha 12th Jun, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

UPSC is a national level examination. Every Indian irrespective of their state is eligible to apply for the exam. The eligibility criteria says that the candidate should be a citizen of India. It doesn't says anything about domicile or graduating state.
