Hi anwessa, as for your possibility to get a seat in both the universities, it depends mostly on which category you're from, as cutoff marks are different for each category.

As CSE is a better course, it is harder to get a seat in this

General 106

OBC 99

SC 93

Guwahati university cutoff marks are

General 76-72

OBC 77-70

SC 61-47

The counseling is going to held in the second week of june, is you're eligible you can participate in the counseling. You need to fill the counseling form and the counseling fees, you can get the form at their official website. The counseling will be done ofline you will be given the counseling center details after you register for it. You need to take the copy of your form along with the original documents in the counseling.

Assam Science and Technology University, Guwahati conducts Assam Combined Entrance Exam(Assam CEE) , a combined entrance examination for admission to various undergraduate engineering programs in member institutions.

Assam CEE was conducted on 28th April and its result was announced on 10th May. The Assam CEE counselling is scheduled for second week july. Notification for counselling will be provided time to time on the official website.

On basis of your merit, you'll be getting the counselling notification so you might want to be on the lookout for a mail or on the official website for the notification!

Hi gautom. To get any IITs,NITs,IIITs,GFTIs or government college you have to appear in josaa counseling. Eligibility- you have appear in jee mains, also for students who have qualified jee mains or jee advanced can register for seat allocation. It consists of 7 rounds. You may fill in the choices of institutes and branches in decreasing order of preferences.you are free to fill as many colleges you want. Once you get the college you have to pay seat acceptance fee online.

Counselling process of CEE process are:

• Assam CEE 2019 Counseling will be held on July 2019 for the 1st phase admission.
• The counseling as per merit list for the subsequent phases shall be notified in case seats remain vacant.
• The counselling process involves document verification, choices of branch & colleges and allotment with payment of counseling fee only.
• Admission fee is to be paid in the college to which seat is allocated.
• The  candidate shall have to report in person on the date as per the CEE 2019 Counseling schedule.
•  A confirmed seat allotment letter will be issued after seat allocation process is completed.
• If a candidate fail to attend the Counseling as per schedule, his/ her candidature will not be considered in the next day or any subsequent Counseling under any circumstances.
• All candidates will have to pay Rs. 600 only(Non-refundable) as counseling fee at the time of counseling.
• Candidate shall have to report to the allotted college for admission with the CEE-2019 Counseling seat allotment letter and complete the required formalities within specified date.
