am i eligible in any nit or other renowned govt college securing 201649 rank with 78.2389579 percentile belonging to general category , female from Assam? kindly pls let me know

Anurag Khanna 9th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

On such CRL rank you have no chances to get any of the NITs or IIITs as the CRL rank closes around 50-60k till final round of JOSAA counselling. You can get an idea from previous year's closing ranks available on the official website :-

https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx

But you can go for some other government colleges that are discussed below.

If we go through previous year's data of seat allotment On the basis of data mentioned in the question by you, you can go for the enlisted colleges :-

Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Allahabad

Ch. Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Haryana

Rajkiya Engineering College, Mainpuri

Tezpur University - TEZU

And some more.......

So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India on the basis of your JEE-Main 2022 result :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Note that the above list is merely a prediction which has been made on the basis of latest cut-offs available and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so now you can check whether you have qualified for JEE-Advance 2022 or not, JEE-Main 2022 qualifying cut-offs are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) -  88.4121383 percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 63.1114141 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 67.0090297  Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 43.0820954 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 26.7771328 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0031029 Percentile

You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck for your future!!

You have chances of getting seat in below mentioned Colleges for your NEET UG score, based on previous year's cut-offs.

Regional Dental College, Guwahati - 428

Government Dental College, Silchar - 418

Government Dental College, Dibrugarh - 419

You can go through below mentioned link to know NEET UG cut-offs of Medical Colleges.

I got 78 in jee mains session 2 2022 i am an sc student can I get silchar nit if i am under Assam State quota Please tell

Sevit Kar 27th Jul, 2022

Hello,

Honestly in this percentile it is difficult to get NIT Silchar because the cut offs are higher. Even I consider your home state and sc category it would still be difficult.

If your luck favours and certain conditions like choices filled by the candidates, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness of the paper.

So i would request you to kindly keep other colleges as a back up to your safety.

i got 78 in jee mains session 2 2022 i am an sc student can I get Silchar nit if I am under Assam state quota

jhasuyash006 27th Jul, 2022

Hello Anamika,

Congratulations for your result. It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank as the trends changes every year because it depends on many factors like number of students appeared, shift, toughness, etc.

But we can predict your result based on the previous trends. With 78 percentile your CRL-AIR will be around 225060 - 253000 and your SC rank will be around 13k. You can verify your rank by using our rank predictor tool which is given below:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

In order to get a seat in NITs, you need to score at least 9k - 10k SC rank, or 85 percentile as per past year trends.

Thus, with 78 percentile, chances are low for NITs and nill for IITs.

If you want to check the chances of getting a college, you can go through our college predictor link which is given below:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B

Thank you and all the best for your future.

can i change college from West Bengal university to assam university in 2nd year

kaquib934 5th Sep, 2022

Yes,you can change your college/uni from one university to other in 2nd year but the chances are really low try to score really good marks in your 1st year and also make sure you get a seat before going for another university and then proceed for further process, you'll need migration certificate and probably a NOC from the former university.

Ive qualified jee mains session 1 but my Assam boards mark is 71.4% . Can I get admission into NITs in 2022? please answer me from the latest official update!

Vishwathiga J 25th Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant,

Yes, you are eligible to get admission into NITs in 2022.

This year they have scrapped the minimum 75% requirement due to the pandemic for 2022 admissions. However, this is a one-time measure and not a policy decision yet. Hence, if you have performed well in JEE Mains, you can get admission based on your rank to the institute of your choice.

Hope this helps.
