Hello there!
Hope you are doing fine.
With this rank, it may be difficult to get a seat in Amrita University.
You can check previous year cut off lists for more clarity.
However, the cut off may change from last year because it depends on many factors.
Hope for the best.
Stay safe.

Hi aspirant,
At first congratulations on your wonderful performance in AEEE. You better have mentioned the campus in which you desire to pursue the course as cutoffs for each one differs. Your score is quite descent but your chances in Coimbatore for Amritapuri campus is slim due to to extreme competition and low intakes. Your chances at Bengaluru campus is much better due to comparitively less competition and you can easily get the mentioned seat at Kochi, Mysore and Amravati campuses ( not recommended as these are still growing). On analysis of previous trends of marks vs rank your rank could lie between 5k to 8k for which the applicable seats can be found by analysing cutoffs at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/aeee-cutoff
Hope it helps!!

The main reason is mechanical students are alllowed to sit with cse students in placements . If you work hard and follow proper roadmap ,then you will be placed as same cse students . Due to nsit brand name, very high-tech giants comes in nsit which increase placement opportunities
Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
