If you want to build robots then Mechanical engineering is most important branch. 

You need a knowledge for other fields as well like CSE and Electrical.

The closest branch related to robotics engineering is mechatronics branch.

DTU don't provide automobile engineering branch for B.Tech course.

It is very difficut to get a 25 LPA+ but you can try. Getting a good placement also depends on your skills, knowledge and grades. It is recommended that you should join the top college to get good teaching

Yes you can choose M.Tech for further studying after doing your B.Tech degree in Automobile Engineering by appearing the GATE examination.

I basically think it is your preference to use CATIA unless you are required to work in PRO-E. Otherwise there is no particular problem that I see. However it will depend upon what you are designing and if your work somewhere what they use.
