Automobile
Hey,
since the speed is increased twice therefore initial speed is 120/2=60 km/hr.
now, there are two cases:
Case I:
given,
u=60 km/hr
v=0
S=20 m
Applying formula: v^2=u^2+2aS
0=(60*5/18)^2-(2*a*S)
a=(60*5/18)^2/(2*20)
Case 2:
u=120 km/hr
a=(60*5/18)^2/(2*20) (from case 1)
Applying the same formula as case 1
v^2=u^2+2aS
0=(120*5/18)^2+2*(60*5/18)/(2*20*S)
therefore
S=80 m, which is the required distance and answer.
I hope this helps.
All the best!
hi,
see right now in india there is demand in IT sector, so thats why your friends are telling you to go for it, but if you dont have passion for it ,, you should not go, we can not give our 100 percent in studies if you do not have passion for it, now coming to automobile sector, if you do not belongs to tier 1 engineering colleges, it is really difficult to get a high paying job or a position in core auto mobile sector, however it since automobile is a semi branch of mechanical engineering, I would recommend you to go for mechanical engineering, where there is field related work and also design engineer positions are available, however mechanical branch is quite hard , has lots of mathematics and physics application.
CSE and IT will be the best engineering degree to pursue career wise. As you know it's very to start up an IT company rather than some automobile factory as it is less expensive so there are more no. of IT companies hence more jobs where as in India core sector is facing a set back and it's going to increase more in coming 2 years so it's better to opt CSE/IT of you are job oriented but I can't say other branch are not that well because a good engineer will get a good job for sure but there will be less job available in these fields.
Hope it helps.
hello aspirant
well ofcourse automobile engineering does have a future.well it is a sub branch of mechanical engineering as the only difference is that automobile is about machines and mechanical engineering is about study of different parts of machines .
in todays world where the everyone depends on transportation and the every company looks ahead for the new innovation that can be made in vehicles.study of automobile engineering can make you bring many changes in vehicles and make them efficient for the public.
Hello
Mechanical engineering is all about machines and their working . As a mechanical engineer yes it will be a good option to choose automobile specialization .
But you should keep in mind your interest because till now you are well known to yourself that what is your interest of field and accordingly you should choose it.
There are a number of specialization field available in mechanical so take time and analyse yourself.
Good luck

Hi Harsh,
Computer science, Civil and mechanical are core branches. These three streams are evergreen. Automobile engineering is subset of Mechanical engineering. Any candidate with a B.Tech in mechanical is eligible to appear in automobile industry placement but converse is not true. Automobile Engineer will have tough time to get a job in core mechanical profile. That is why if you are interested to pursue automobile it is better to take mechanical. Now coming to the best stream it actually depends on your interest because that is the only thing which can make best out of any situation. You may have read this before that beauty lies in the eyes of beholder so if you are passionate about any one of these streams you can make it best for yourself.
