To get into IAS ther eis no specific course which shall nake difernce.

However engineering students can have better potential ince they become IAS officer as they woukd have great mix of technical and management skills.

GATe exam can be appeared for final year students or students already graduated with minimum 50% marks.

Right now you can start preparing for GATE and join coaching institutions. You can appear in final year of graduation for GATe.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Master of Arts in Economics in JNU is candidate should have Bachelor's degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 50% marks.
