which bachelor to degree to take a become archaeologist .we shall take BA.history or ba Hons in history

Subhrajit Mukherjee 11th Jun, 2021

If you want to go for Archaeology I would always recommend you to go for the BA(Hons.) course in History. This course will give you in depth knowledge of the field of History which will laterwards help you coup up with the Archeology courses.

BA History is a generalized course which will be not that depth as compared to that of BA History Hons.

To know more about the course visit the link given below:

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!

Can i get admission in du north campus (Hindu or hansraj)for economic honours or ba economica?my best of four percentage is 98%.I am from PCMB background.

Shweta Goel 21st Jul, 2021

Hello aspirant,

Eligibility criteria

  • An aggregate of 60% marks or more in one Language from , a combination of other best three elective subjects.
  • Out of the best two chosen above, the non-inclusion of Economics will lead to a deduction of 1% on the aggregate of the Best Four.
  • Inclusion of any subject other than those given in Lists A and B in the best two will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per subject on the aggregate of the Best Four.

Since you are from science background and won't be able to include Economics as a subject in your best four, so there will be a deduction of 1% in your final percentage. This makes your percentage 97%.

But even after this, there is possibility that you get admission in top Delhi University colleges like Hansraj. Kindly wait for the result and cutoffs to release.

I hope this information helps you.

I am a first year BA Psychology student studying in a different college. My second semester is about to end and I want to change my college and take admission in St. Xaviers College, Ahmedabad in the third semester (second year) in same course. What is the procedure?

ayanmukherjee045 10th Jun, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you are already enrolled in college and in BA psychology and you want to take admission st. Xavier's College.

So, I would suggest you to ask the college officials what all you would be requiring to get yourself out of the college. They would be asking some documents or rather they would be giving some documents. It is better to ask the college officials about the procedure.

But I don't think st. Xavier's would be allowing you to take admission in 3rd semester directly until and unless you are have some sources.
