In order to become a government teacher it's mandatory that you complete a teacher's training program, it can be DEd, DElEd, or any other which is recognized by NCTE, but since you have completed graduation you can consider pursuing BEd for which the eligibility criteria is passed graduation or post-graduation in any disicpline from a recognized university with 50% or above aggregate depending upon the norms of the university, admission process may be merit based or done through entrance test such as by DU, BHU, RIEs are best options regarding this, as you will hold good chance to become TGT, and if in future you pursue master's degree also you can become PGT, you can appear for CTET regarding this or state level Teachers Eligibility Test,

For admission into BA in Economics in SRCC, the minimum eligibility criteria which a student needs to fulfill in order to take admission in the course us as follows,
A minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination (class 12th) and should have studied maths also.
The percentage should include one language and marks of three best academic or elective subjects which should include the subject in which you are taking admission.
If you don't include the subject you are taking you will have to face a deduction of 2.5%.
As you have studied Maths, so yes you are eligible for admission into the college.
