Firstly you are comparing Biotech and Microbio with English which is a completely different field of study. See if you want to know then all the subject has the scope in India and abroad both in industry and academia.

Biotechnology is a great field of study with a lot of application in Pharmacy and development of drugs. So you will have a lot of scope. But always remember that if you go for Biotechnology i.e., if you are interested in the subject for research then only go for BSc Biotechnology. This is because MSc Biotechnology you have to do after BSc for sure and the course work is more research oriented in general. So if you want to go for industry then go for BTech Biotechnology it will give you better scope in Industries.

Microbiology is one of the most preferred course in Biology and have a lot of job opportunities in the field. The study of microbial organism are very relevant in this situation so its undoubtedly a great choice. This field have some serious application in pathology and other studies but those are mostly preferred for MD Microbiology which you can do after MBBS. But if you go for BSc MIcrobiology then you have a great scope to do research in the subject and after that you have a lot of value in both the industries as well as the academia.

Now BA English is a language course which have enough scope to go for academics and content writing. Also there are a lot of employment in MNC's for secretaries and spokes person. To have a prosperous career in it also you have to go for MA. And this field will need a lot of affection for the subject else you will not be able to connect with it.
