Hello Anushree,
BA (hons) in Psychology and BA (hons) in Applied Psychology are both highly valued psychology courses. Now comes the difference, though both of them have the same syllabus but in BA psychology you are inclined towards more of theoretical knowledge and in BA applied psychology, along with theory there is field experience and real experiments which makes the understanding better.
However, in order to be able to connect more to the society, and have some practical experience, students are inclined towards BA in applied psychology.
Talking about the job opportunities, in order to become a psychologist, or even a counsellor, it is mandatory to have a masters degree. In the post graduation level, the course remains the same irrespective of whether you have done BA in applied psychology or BA in psychology. Some of the branches which you can choose for the post graduation level are cognitive psychology, clinical psychology, counselling psychology and many more.
Other career options,
Basically, in future it would not matter if you take BA Applied psychology or BA psychology, the difference lies only in the practical and theory part i.e. on the way that both courses are designed. Other that that, both of them have vast number of career opportunities.
You can join private sector as a consultant Position. Because if your english is good as a written and speaking as well you will get easily good job. You can also doing b.ed and join as a teacher in a school. While government or private school. You have to choose which job you want.
All the best.
Since youve done BA in English, and are interested in Management. I would suggest you to prefer a MBA in HR/General Administration/Marketing more than some sort of Finance/Business/Operations Specializations which are generally suited by aspirants from Technical or Commerce Background.
After MBA in HR, if done from some of the Best Management Institutions, preferably NIRF Top 50, you do have excellent career scope and placement prospects.
hi,
After completing BA in English you have two options, you may either go for job or higher study. however for if you have good communication skills you may work in mncs as a customer support assistant, project management professional, content writer , content development like positions. right now there is many remote works available where you may work for 24*7 schedule of any time in bpo sectors. do make profile on naukri dot com, times job, linkedin and update your resume to get latest job alert.

Hello Aspirant
I hope you are doing good . With reference to your query , I would like to suggest you that persuing bba+mba course would be a better option because after completion of bba in integrated course then at mba time subjects are not repeated which are studied eariler in bba , you will get more priority in your college since you have done bba from that college though it doesnt affects a lot but it does . Whereas doing mba after ba , you need to give separate exam like cat ,xat to take admission ,if by any chance you not able to crack top college then their will be a problem and you have to study subjects of bba too
Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future
