Hi,
As per your mentioned query yes, you can get direct admission in BCA. The admission process vary from college to college. Please kindly mention the college name so i can provide you exact information regarding your query.
Admission to BCA course can be secured through an entrance exam or on merit basis. Aspirants need to fulfil the eligibility criteria primarily to be able to sit for entrance exam of any institute. Often, there is an entrance exam conducted by a particular university such as IPU-CET, SET.
Because some college give admission on the basis of your 12 grade merit, some give on the basis of admission test conducted by their own University or college. But there are also some colleges which offers you direct admission in BCA course.
So, if you are asking about any particular college then mentioned it in comment section or you can ask a separate question.
Hope this will help you !
BCA is a bachelor degree in computer application which is an undergraduate course of 3 years. B.tech is a bachelors degree technology which is available in different subjects like mechanical engineering, computer science engineering, information technology, electrical engineering and many more. It is a four year undergraduate professional course. BCA is a degree. If you have an MCA then you are considered to be equivalent with the BTech holder. Both courses are great and have greater career opportunities. BCA courses offered by top institute and also other colleges and Universities. Admissions are given on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the University separately and also on the basis of merit marks obtained in 12th. You can get admission for b.tech with your performance in JEE mains and also there are universities or colleges that offers admission on the basis of merit. But usually engineering courses or BTech admission us through JEE mains.
You can try getting admission for BCA at normal colleges with minimal fees on the basis of your 12th marks. You don't have to get disappointed that you got less marks in JEE. Because admission to these courses doesn't depend only on those marks.
Hello!
Candidates who want to take pursue Bachelor of Computer Applications programme must have completed 10+2 in any stream from any recognized board. And t he minimum age limit of the candidate must be 17 years. However, the eligibility criteria slightly varies from colleges to colleges.
Regarding your second query, I think you should come to a decision by yourself. You should pursue the course in which you're interested.
Hope this will help you. Good luck
After BCA you can take confirmation in the MCA course. The length of the MCA course is long-term. MCA is a long-term post-graduate course. you can apply for the MCA selection test if you have Maths in 12th. If you have done your BCA, doubtlessly you can seek after MCA as a standard up-and-comer. Yet, you should have a valid justification for the whole year. For your situation, it is 10 years which is quite a while. I would recommend you to have a go at upgrading your abilities instead of simply getting degrees.
