B.Des
Hello,
future can be predicted but can't be said accurately. Score cutoff changes every year and it may or may not be 130 as it depends on lot of factors like how many candidates appear, difficulty of paper , average performance of candidates and many more.
Board look into so many things and then decide the cutoff. Seat is reserved but the candidate number is also high. That is where toughness increases. Give your best in the exam.
for general category, cutoff is 10 in each section and 100 as minimum aggregate marks of all the 3 sections.

Good Luck!
Hello student there's no option left now as you've make the mistake yourself by applying for b.ftech instead of B.design.
As this year exams has already passed you need to appear in next year nift entrance examination and make sure you won't make any mistake.
Eligibility for bachelor design :-
Candidates must have passed class 12 (or appearing) from any discipline from a recognized board.
Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
Good luck
Hello Vicky,
The courses offered by National Institute of Fashion Technology are-
Yes NIFT, Delhi accepts BDes course. You have to appear for NIFT exam and the total fees is 9.76 lakhs for 4 years.
I hope it helps
Thank you
Thanks Harish, However, what you are saying is true for MDes only (which is 150 minutes paper). My query was related to BDes which is 180 minutes paper. As far as I know there is no such notification for BDes exam. It seems unfair to all the students who were not allowed the full 3 hours for both sections.
The paper tests your creative aptitude, visualisation skill, reasoning, creative writing, awareness, general awareness, general knowledge, some basics and sensitivity to solve any design related problems, etc. Agreed that people from B.Des will have a slightly better advantage but you can crack it easily too. So you will have to dig as many as sample papers as you possibly can and practise them. There is no set syllabus in specific for this test. And so you have to either join a Coaching center for getting a hang of the subject before you appear for the entrance exam or you will have to practise as many as sample papers as you can and read B.Des books.
Dear Florida,
Industrial Design Centre (IDC) at IIT Bombay has a Master of Design degree (M.Des) programme in Industrial Design, Visual Communication, Animation Design, Interaction Design & Mobility and Vehicle Design as well as a Ph.D programme in Design.
IDC also offers a four year, eight semester Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme and a five year, ten semester dual degree B.Des + M.Des programme. However, the option of doing the dual degree, B .Des + M.Des will be available only at the end of the 3rd year.
Both these programmes would be credit - based and thus offer the flexibility to progress at one's own pace. A minimum level of performance is essential for satisfactory progress. The medium of instruction is English.
The admission for B.Des. is through UCEED or Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design. It will be held on January 18th 2020. It is a computer-based test. If the applications are available now, they will have a late fee. It is a national level exam with a duration of three hours.
