As per your query, none of us could say why the fees of any college is high or low but we can assume some criteria according to which the fees differs. They are- maybe because the college is private and the fees differs maybe because of the facilities the college provides. Hope this answer helps you. All the best.

    Assuming you are in general category I have the following predictions.  There are a total of 100 seats offered for B.Des in NID Ahmedabad. There are 60 in Vijayawada and 60 in Kurukshetra. According to previous year results, you have quite less probability to get a seat in NID Ahmedabad. But you may get a seat in NID Kurukshetra. All the best!!!

The NID (National Institute of Design) has its main institute at Ahmadabad. However, you can give entrance at other mentioned venues too. When you apply for the entrance exam, you will have the option to choose a city nearest to you and that will be your exam venue. 

The NID organizes its entrance in many cities across India.

• Ahmedabad- Heritage campus
• Gandhinagar- PG Campus
• Bangalore- R&D campus

In addition to these there are Vijaywada and Kurukshetra Campus which provides diploma program. These are newly established.

Bangalore campus do not provide UG program and only provides following PG courses:

• Design for retail experience
• Digital game design
• Information design
• Interaction design
• Universal design

And a diploma in designing. You may get B.Des in Ahemdabad campus.
