To be very honest, sometimes for students its just not feasible to get into a high level college, due to financial or other reasons, but even taking admission in tier 2 or 3 wont hurt anything, its the placements that matter at the end of the day and

Though the exams dates in Amity University are not fixed,but most probably the misd semester exams fall on the 1st or 2nd week of October and the first semester end term theory exams start from mid december.The most probable dates for end ter theory exams are 10th december

It depends on availability of the seats, most students vacate in case they are eligible for another college of their preference
also, the entrance scores are higher when it comes to the second year
You have to fulfill all eligibility criteria before you can go ahead for the process
