as per the jobs concerned for both branches being core they both offer jobs but in my opinion mechanical engg. has more easy way to get enrolled in jobs as every industry big or small now runs on machines and its evergreen branch as well and demend never

its difficut to answer as both jobs give you stress at start mainly but it depends on the firm you are in wether private or government thats the main reason after btech and it needs hardwork before

There's nothing as good or bad . It all depends on your capabilities and your interest . Both fields have scope however it depends on you taht how you perform

PSUs demand at least 6.5 CGPA and IITs or IISC demand minimum 60% marks as per my knowledge. so you should try for other job and colleges.
