You just have to get a 50 percent scores in BTech if you fall in general category or else you'll have to get 45% if you fall in reserved category.

Hi Sahil,

To calculate your marks out of 500, only FIVE subjects are taken into account-

1. Physics 

2. Mathematics

3. Chemistry

4. Any ONE language, either English or Hindi

5. Any optional subject, like IT


From these subjects, the marks out of 500 are calculated and a list is

MTech in Aeronautical Engineering is a professional degree of 2 years. The course involves the study of design and mechanism of flying objects. It trains the engineer on designing, repairing, and analysing different parts of the flying objects.

Hey arbaab,

You can start preparing any time of these 4 years. If you start early then it will be beneficial for you. Syllabus of GATE is not that big if you are starting early. If you are preparing for GATE exam then it will also cover your B.Tech syllabus
