Depends on the Universities/Colleges. You should have have asked on the basis of the particular University. Have you seen anywhere that Mechanical course has a separate college or something. So, please think three times before asking these types of questions.

Both aren't that different, B.E. stands for Bachelor of Engineering while B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology.
