Being a student from UP, you are not only eligible for B.Tech admission in private colleges in the state, but also in institutes like Jadhavpur University.

That being said, you will not be eligible for admission at government colleges.

If you are preparing for JEE Main exam it is recommended that you should refer NCERT books for your preparation as syllabus is based on them. You can also go for NCERT exemplar.
