There is no PREP rank in IIT 

There  it is done as the improvement of SC/ST candidates who are unable to qualify in competative exam and there are generally 30-40 seats available for the PREP course and the duration is for 1 year and you will be trained

GITAM is better than ICFAI but in GITAM you will find it harder to spread your wings in directions other than academics. And if it is a job you are looking for then GITAM will do you good provided you do justice to your academics and I would say

Hi,

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. LPUNEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2.

There is no big issue you don't need to worry about this they will automatic correct don't forget they have your 12th Result but in case Just tell them when you go for the Counculing so they can came to a conclusion.
