Among the two options mentioned above, I would sincerely suggest you to for CSE in MIT, Manipal if you don't have any fees boundary issues. B.Tech in MIT, Manipal costs upto 23-24 lakhs as whole while IIITDM Kancheepuram would barely cost you even half of that amount.

Hello Swarai, with 78.5 percentile your rank would be somewhere around 180000. You have no chance of getting any government colleges like NITs or IIITs because they have a much lower cutoff. You didn't mention your native state otherwise I could have mentioned some colleges that you could apply to.

as per your rank you are not eligible for any iit or niit college .futher go for private university like amity university ,lovely professional university or babu banarsi dar university they are top university with best placement record i hope it will help you out .good luck!!

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has started the JEE Main 2019 counselling and seat allotment.The result of 1st round of seat allocation will be declared on June 27,2019.Also JoSAA  conducts counselling for taking admission in each states IITs , NITs and GFTIs.

Criteria to get an admission is:-

• 10+2 with PCM with at least 60% marks in Mathematics
• Merit in 10+2 and score in JEE Main.
  
• 5%, 60%, 15% and 20% weightage to the marks in class X, XII,

Try for private those are also good.

It will be difficult to get admission in any government colleges.Dont loose hope, you can try for private colleges like DIT,Manipal,Shardha,VIT,SRM.
