are you asking about Indian Maritime University entrance for doing masters degree?
if yes,
the candidate should have graduated in marine/mechanical engineering or naval architecture with atleast 60% marks.
for b.tech:the candidate should have passed in their +2 board examination with PCM and 60% of aggregate marks.

no problem if you don't want to go for BTech,
firstly don't think that only arts students can easily crack UPSC exam and all because the thing matter is your interest you don't have to only read that subject but have to deeply understand, so, go for such subject

1) age - born between 1 july,1998 to 1 july 2003
2) Qualifying marks- It varies campus to campus for Kattankulathar campus, candidates need to have secured 60% and for amarvati you have to score 70% aggregate in PCM.

The University of Hyderabad doesn't offer bachelors degrees. They only offer Masters and above courses. How ever you can find a 5 year integrated M.Tech course where you can do a Bachelors and Masters together in 5 year frame. For it they consider the JEE score.

no dear , Direct admission is not at all possible in B.tech .You have to clear the eligibility criteria for the same. The eligibility for Btech is - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with physics, mathematics and English) subject to qualify LPUNEST.

This is the first time when IIT-H has added AI branch. There are no records of closing and opening ranks for that course. So it is difficult to predict that. Closing rank depends upon popularity of course and college. So I think this is the first time for AI.
