Ofcourse you can do MS in petroleum engineering after Btech in mechanical engineering.

But be careful that some of the universites doesnot take the different background students. So before applying check the university website for the eligibilty criteria.

There is no age limit to appear MHT CET Entrance Exam. As per the eligibility you should have minimum 50% aggregate marks in 12th standard examination (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates). The  Eligibility Criteria for admission B.Tech in Marine Engineering in CUSAT is that you must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 12th. You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects in qualifying examination
