I got 168 rank in beled and am from obc category is there any chance to get admission in du college ?

Only 8 colleges offer the B.El.Ed course under the University of Delhi and they are as follows:

  1. Gargi College
  2. Aditi mahavidyalaya
  3. Institute of Home Economics
  4. Jesus and Mary college
  5. Lady Shri ram college for women
  6. Mata sundri college for women
  7. Shyama prasad mekherji college
  8. miranda House

Miranda House is one of the most renowned colleges in the country. Located in the North Campus of the Delhi University, it is one of the top-grade women’s colleges which was established back in 1948.  The college, in 2019, has been ranked as the best college in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). The college holds NAAC Grade A+ with CGPA 3.61. So as per my opinion this is the good college .

how much rank is needed to secure a seat in du BELED

Hello rohit....

I am assuming you as an general category student so according to previous year's cutoff at the last round the rank of the last students from this category is  nearly 500-600 and as according to it you can refer the article below for the cutoff rank for other categories.

You can  get previous year rank wise cutoff for both board marks and its entrance exam  marks based rank list below

can someone get admission into du beled offering colleges after appearing for du beled entrance, if the marks scored are 240 out of 400 in unreserved category?

Congratulations for getting 240 marks in Du B EL Ed examination and you have very good chance of getting admission.total no of seats in Du for general category is 200 and in 1st round arround 225 rank students are called for counselling.
In 2018 candidate who have 200 rank have 240 marks.so according to this you have chance of getting admission in Du.
If you are not called in 1st round then wait for 2nd,3rd and spot round counselling you may get seat.

Hello Sneha!

For preparing for B.EL.Ed entrance you van prepare by yourself because syllabus is till class 10th. However if you want to take help from a book you can refer a book published by ARIHANT. This book covers all the syllabus and have many practice questions. To clear this exam your basic should be clear till 10th.

The eligibility criteria for bachelor of elementary education (B.el.ed) is that you have to clear your higher secondary education that is class 12th from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other recognised board examination with aggregate of 50% marks and minimum passing marks in each of the four subject. Selection will be done through an online entrance exam with the duration of two hours, question paper will have multiple choice questions (MCQs) format consisting 100 questions for 4 marks each.
