bhms is best for good career and jobs

Piyush 25th Jul, 2022

hello aspirant,

I would say YES, BHMS is a very good career options as you get both - respect in the society and a very handsome salary package. The candidate having the BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) degree is eligible to be called as a doctor and eligible to do the private practice. A homeopathic practitioner may look the career as a medical representative or as a doctor in private or government hospital.

The job profiles after completing the BHMS programme are as the following:

  • Lecturer
  • Consultant
  • Private practice
  • Therapist
  • Pharmacist
  • Doctor
  • Public health specialist
  • Medical assistant
  • Spa director

Now If I talk about the salary of BHMS, it is very impressive.

In government sector the salary of a homeopathic doctor is Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month while in the private sector the salary starts from the Rs. 20,000 per month.

With some experience, one can get the handsome salary like Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50, 000 per month. There is no limit of salary if you have become popular as a good doctor in the society.

Further, to know more about the BHMS career, subjects, scope, salary, etc, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it in detail : https://www.careers360.com/courses/bhms-bachelor-of-homeopathic-medicine-and-surgery

I hope that this will help.

which is best...bhms or b pharma??

Aditya kumar 24th Jul, 2022

hlwo aspirant

hope you are doing well

BHMS is a very good option if you wish to go. Many organizations are working in the manufacturing and research field in abroad are requiring the professional in this field. The professionals in this field can work in companies those deal with the homeopathic preparations.

Bachelor of Pharmacy or B. Pharma is a 4-year UG degree program designed for students interested in the study of manufacturing medicines. This degree program also helps aspiring students understand the process of dispensing medicines across various distributors and medical stores.

But we can say that BHMS will seek you a degree for practising medicine so in my opinion b pharm is better than bhms . after bpharm you can do mpharm and can get good jobs in multinational companies , you can also start your own business after graduation whereas in bhms there is a very little scope in India You should know that b pharma course is more accepted nowadays.  Both of them are equally good but if you see knowledge purpose and future in this field then b pharma should be accepted by you.  This is because after doing b pharma their are many good job opportunities and average salary is also good in it.  Also while studying you would get proper knowledge of medicines and pharmacology so it should be preferred

hope this is helpful for you

best of luck

Dear pranali

So the answer is absolutely yes with no doubt

This one is for Bds-You go through the councelling process and It happens that when we do councelling, after filling all the  documents NTA gives us option to choose our favourite college and there is no limit in this,we can choose as many college who comes under the cutoff so,whatever private College you want keep it as first priority and you will be definitely allot a seat in your first councelling.

For BHMS and BAMS-you can also get seat in these courses but it's councelling started later which is conducted by state itself.

So for all these three courses you can get any private College seat easily either you are from general,obc,sc/st or Any other category

Hello aspirant,

No, unfortunately, even if you are from the SC/ST/OBC category, you must score at least 288 out of 720 (40 percentile) to be eligible for the 15% All India Quota counselling process. You would be among the NEET qualified students with 250 marks, hence you will not be able to enter into government colleges of bams/bhs/bds with 250 marks in neet, even if you belong to the obc category.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.

BA pychology or bhms which is better from private?? and what is the criteria for na pychology?

Arhana Chakraborty 23rd Jul, 2022

Two courses are different in there own ways and they have quite a good career ahead. If you wish to go for the course of BHMS course, then you should be aware that the Homeopathic treatment is more over research and teaching and less towards practice in the top cities. You won't be able to treat patients with higher complications such as in MBBS but yeah! there are treatment procedures for low and mildly severe cases.

You can also join the Homeopathic Pharmaceutical companies and work there are scientist/Medical Officer and it has quite a good career ahead.

Now if you wish to go for the Psychology then you can become a Psychologist but for that you have to investment some time in higher studies. You can become a Psychology intern after your MA in Psychology but if you wish to be a professional psychologist providing counselling session or working as a consultant psychologist, then you need to complete your PhD.

Both the above mentioned fields have a good career ahead depending on the goals you have. So you have to choose wisely based on your aspirations and dreams.

You can check the eligibility criteria of BA Psychology as well as other details by following the link provided below:
