All the best
Hello,
It's tough to predict anything as of now,as it is the first time VIT is giving admission on the basis of 12th marks,though those who have given jee mains will be given weightage.
Seeing your marks their could chance for you through your 12th marks but that solely depends on the merit of the students who have applied.
You still have one chance to appear in the jee exam which will be conducted in September,so prepared for that with best of your efforts.
Hope for the best;
It will comprise of Reading Comprehensions both seen and unseen prose and poetry and the questions asked within will be covering straight forward, factual, descriptive, as well as grammar part.
You'll then have writing skills which will include Report writing, writing an article on a proverb, advertisement making, formal letters, etc.
And a short section will include grammar questions which covers direct indirect speech, active passive voice, affirmative interrogative exclamatory sentences, figures of speech, etc.
Best wishes. Thank you.

For JEE Mains Exam ,One needs to either secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in his/her respective Class XII board examination .
So it depends on how many subjects you opted . So you need to calculate required marks on the basis of number of subjects .
