Well since biotechnology is one course so you would get to do MSc in biotechnology itself. Microbiology and industrial microbiology are separate courses. And hence I would recommend you to go freely for biotechnology as it is one of the most important field these days.

Vandana, according to the official website, http://www.bhu.ac.in/science/molecularandhumangenetics/ , any Candidate who holds a Bachelor degree in any branch of Science, Agriculture, Medicine, Pharmaceutics or Bio Science related Technology. Admissions are done through Common Entrance Examination for Biotechnology. So you need to select Biotechnology. During Counselling, you can choose Genetics.

It all depends on your knowledge and interest. both the courses have advantage and disadvantage as far as biotechnology is concerned the course have a great hope at the present due to shifting of hospital to completely technological and other implementation of medical equipments. but the course is
