Hi Basha,
Yes there are decent chances for you to get a seat in JNTU and osmania on this rank. Osmania University conducted the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) from May 28 to 31, 2019 on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admissions into regular PG courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Pharmacy.
Good luck
Dear Roshan
Taking biology in 10+2 is not compulsory for pursuing biotechnology engineering in most of the college . But if you'll have it then you'll be benifited during the study of the course.
But for bsc in biotechnology , biology is compulsory whereas for B.Tech it's not strictly required.
Hi Prajwal,
This is a relative question and it may vary with the students. Some might find it easy and others might not. However, coding in biotechnology or for that matter any other productive field coding is not simple. Printing a Fibonacci series or finding palindrome numbers is not coding. The real use of coding is to automate stuff and use it in innovations. That requires effort and hence comes the part of the difficulty. If you are interested in coding, then this will not be difficult for you. All you have to do is put in your best efforts and then you will find things moving steadily. For a starter, you must learn Python as it is the most used language in various fields including Biotech.
Hope this helps.
Comment your doubts, if any.
Thank You.

Biotechnology is one of the emerging career fields in India. Food Technology, Nutrition, Medicines, Healthcare, Forensic Sciences are some of the fields of Biotechnology. The scope of Biotechnology is wide and offers opportunities in the field of both research and engineering.
It is expected that in the near future there will be more jobs available in the geology field than there are Geologists to fill them.
Depending upon your choice of interest, you can pursue any of these streams because at the moment the scope for both these streams is literally the same.
Hello aspirant,
Overall DTU gives 75% placements on campus. But, for Biotechnology there are no core companies which visit the college. Only 2 or 3 companies visits like mankind pharma or Ranbaxy. So placements for biotechnology are not good in DTU. And that 75% placements include students of computer science engineering and electrical engineering. I will suggest you to look for another college or another course.
Good Luck.
