Biotechnology student with pcm in 12th isc is eligible for Mbbs??

Adeel khan 27th May, 2019

Hello Harsh

MBBS stands for bachelors of medicine and surgery and in order to pursue this course you must be having Biology as your main subject in 12th or additional Biology, but without biology, it is senseless to even ask about pursuing MBBS. You must be having Biology in your core to study MBBS.

Hope it helps :)

Dear Sir/ Ma'm, according to the eligibility for the NEET UG, you need to have an aggregate of 50% in physics, chemistry and biology if you are a general candidate and it reduces down to 40% if you belong to the reserved category. So, according to your marks your aggregate is around 51.33 which makes you eligible to sit for NEET.

Hello I m anshika ...I got 364 marks in biotechnology engineering exam ...Can I get any government college for further studies?

KanishqVerma 25th May, 2019

Hello,

It would be much better if you could mention the exam conducting body.

If you are talking about UPSEE then as per the previous year’s cutoff you will get a rank of around 8000-9000

You can get admission in government college for biotechnology branch only in 2nd or 3rd round and chances for that are less.

But each year the cutoff changes as the level of the paper and other factors change.

Also there is a very nice scope for biotechnology in the future. This field has already shown a great progress and has great demand in some places.
