In the first two semesters the focus is on the core subjects of biotechnology to ensure a good grounding in the fundamental concepts. Specialization is offered in the second and third year.
The course contents cover all aspects of the applied and core biotechnology including molecular biology, genetic engineering, plant and animal tissue culture, bioprocess technology, advanced microbial technology, intellectual property rights and patents, industry relations and entrepreneurship etc.

Btech Biotechnology is very much better than bsc in biotechnology because its a four year course and you get so much more to learn than bsc , there is adifference of word technology it has more practical work than bsc bsc gives you just an overview and obviously preferrene of biotech engineer is above bsc biotech , salary is aso high and its best to go for mba after that you will lead to much faster growth
