major emphasis is on the practical knowledge, where students are trained in the field of Microbiology, Molecular and Recombinant DNA Technology, Bioprocess Engineering and Bioinformatics. Organization of seminars, workshops, industrial and institutional visits help the students to develop research temperament, orientation skills and to practically observe Biotechnological processes at Industrial level. Six months dissertation (Project Work) in last semester provides an opportunity for the students to work in emerging fields of Biotechnology and to get placed in core Biotech Industries. Apart from academics, participation in sports and extracurricular activities provides a holistic and enriching experience to students.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology (https://www.jnujaipur.ac.in/courses/bsc-hons-biotechnology/102/) is a three-year degree programme. In the first two semesters the focus is on the core subjects of biotechnology to ensure a good grounding in the fundamental concepts. Specialization is offered in the second and third year.
The course contents cover all aspects of the applied and core biotechnology including molecular biology, genetic engineering, plant and animal tissue culture, bioprocess technology, advanced microbial technology, intellectual property rights and patents, industry relations and entrepreneurship etc.

Eligibility: 10+2 Science (Biology/ Maths/ Agriculture/ Biotech or Equivalent)

Btech Biotechnology is very much better than bsc in biotechnology because its a four year course and you get so much more to learn than bsc , there is adifference of word technology it has more practical work than bsc bsc gives you just an overview and obviously preferrene of biotech engineer is above bsc biotech , salary is aso high and its best to go for mba after that you will lead to much faster growth
