Bio Engineering
The duration of the course is four years. Qualification is must have passed 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

Not difficult! But yes you have to do bit more effort to study biology unless you are having additional biology during your 12th class.
But nothing to worry about, just pay some more attention on biology topics and try to clear to your basic concept.
This will help you to understand biotech subjects more easily.
And if you are going to opt B.Tech biotech, that can be more comfortable for you then B.Sc biotech.
Nothing is so hard that can be never done. So if you seriously want carrier in biotechnology go for it. All the best

Of course you can take admission in any private college with biotechnology stream as you are a PCB student as many private college take their own entrance examinations and some take account of your class 12th board marks

According to previous year cut off list of CURAJ and CUH , you have fare chance of admission in main campus . If you are not selected in first list , then you must wait for 2nd or 3rd round counciling sedule . Chances of admission is high .

For getting admission at uiet Chandigarh I am providing you the eligibility criteria.
The minimum eligibility is-
Required Eligibility Criteria based on Class 12th / Equivalent qualifying examination: 1. Language 2. Physics 3. Mathematics 4. Any one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject 5. Any other subject. Only those candidates are eligible who have passed class 12th with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for the candidates of reserved categories).
Thus, it is not compulsory to have Biology in class 12th for pursuing biotechnology engineering in UIET Chandigarh.
Even if you are a PCM student are eligible to get admission in this college in biotechnology engineering.

since the number of seats in this field is very less the competition is ver high, there is a chnace that with your obc rank of 86 female, you might not be able to secure a seat in BHU at the very first round of counselling. However, there is always hope and chances that you make it in the second round of counselling. Keep an eye on the official Banaras Hindu University website for futhur information.

According to the previous years cutoffs, marks required to get admission in BHU M.Sc Plant Biotechnology are about 180-230 for general category. With 165 marks in the BHU PET it is difficult to get admission. But since cutoffs tend to vary you might just get admission too. Check the official website for the announcement of the merit list to make sure.
