Though they are related with each other but the students must understand and compare them very carefully before opting for a career depending upon their areas of interest.

Last year, they released on 19th June 2018.

The cutoff depends on your category.

For B.Sc. biotechnology, the cutoff last year was-

Open category- 66.15%

SC- 64.15%

India is still in a budding stage of biotechnology hence the job prospects are not that high but it is there and more so if you go in south india or out of india. if you are good at maths and want to go in research work then

last years cutoff moved in between 1k-2k. since your rank is 7k, it will be extremely hard to get in bundelkhand university as it is the top University in UP which offers biotech. so sorry to inform you.

Everything is relies on level of difficulty of test but still 49 in obc category is not sufficient for taking admission in govt. college for btech but still there are possibilities of getting good Colleges in your home state through your score...try for guiding round or councelling round
