Hi vaishnavi, below i am mentioning eligibility criteria for IITJAM for biotechnology exam , so that you can check essential requirements or essential subjects you need to have during your graduation or 12th standard,i have mentioned graduation subjects required below for different types of biotechnology courses

- M.Sc. Biotechnology: 1)institute:IITI, IITB, IITR, Essential subjects required in bachelors degree:any branch/any subject 3)essential subjects req in 10+2:no restrictions(acc to this i think you are eligible meeting basic cgpa requirements,which have been mentioned in official JAM pdf below)
- Joint M.Sc.- Ph.D. in Molecular Medical Microbiology:1)institute: IITKGP,2)Essential subjects required in bachelors degree:B.Sc./B.S. degree (3yrs/6 semesters) with Biology Biotechnology/Botany/Lifescience/Physiology/Zoology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Genetics & molecular biology as Honours/Major/Main Subject, and any one of Chemistry/Physics Mathematics as one of compulsory subsidiary subject for at least 1yrs/2 semester.3)essential subjects req in 10+2:no restrictions(acc to this i think you are eligible meeting basic cgpa requirements,which have been mentioned in official JAM pdf below)
- M.Sc.- Ph.D. Dual Degree in Environmental Science and engineering:1)essential subjects in graduation:Any one of Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics for two years/four semesters, and any one of the other four subjects for at least one year/two semesters 3)essential subjects in 10+2:mathematics.
