Biology is not that compulsory for giving Vellore Institute of Technology Entrance Examination. The candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the previous qualifying examination. However there is a huge difference for reserved categories that they have to score only 50% marks in the previous qualifying examination for being eligible for the examination.

but if you want to study biomedical engineering you should take biology for viteee.

A candidate seeking admission here should have passed 10th or high school examination. Non Kerala students can also apply for the admission.
