I am hoping that you are absolutely fine. As per your mentioned query , if you want to get admission in biomedical engineering then you should have biology as a compulsory subject in your class 12th. Because as per the guidelines, candidate who have passed their 10+2 with any recognised board having the subjects physics, chemistry and biology are eligible to get admission in this course.

Integral University does not offer Bachelor of technology biomedical engineering to the students who have completed their 10 +2 class level board examination with physics chemistry and biology subjects. The compulsory subjects to be studied in 10+2 for being eligible are physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The candidate must have completed his 10 + 2 class level board examination with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. Final admission to the course is provided on the basis of JEE Mains, iucet or any other equivalent examination.

Biology is not that compulsory for giving Vellore Institute of Technology Entrance Examination. The candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the previous qualifying examination. However there is a huge difference for reserved categories that they have to score only 50% marks in the previous qualifying examination for being eligible for the examination.
but if you want to study biomedical engineering you should take biology for viteee.
