In order to be eligible for drug inspector job, you need to pass graduation in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science or clinical pharmocology or microbiology or medicine or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Moreover,  you need to be between 21 to 30 years of age.

Marking scheme of CDS:

• English - 120 questions, 100 marks. 5/6 mark per correct answer. Negative marking is 5/18 mark per wrong answer.
• GK - Same as English.
• Maths - 100 questions, 100 marks. 1 mark per correct answer. Negative marking is 1/3 mark per wrong answer.( not required)
